1. Who we are
Dogsday ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal information collected through [dogsday.co.uk]. We are committed to handling your data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us (name, email address, message) via the contact form
- Order and account details (name, delivery address, order history)
- Photos you upload for personalised cards
- Photos of your dog and card descriptions you give our AI card designer, and the designs it makes
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and analytics
3. How we use it
We use your information to fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, produce personalised items, and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal data.
AI card designer. To create your design, your description and any dog photo you upload are sent to our AI providers: OpenAI (the picture), Anthropic (planning the picture) and Google (the words). They process it on our behalf to make your card. Your photos and designs are stored privately (never publicly visible) and kept until you delete them from your account. Designs that are part of an order can be deleted once the order has been posted.
4. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how we handle your data.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We only use the essential cookies the shop needs to work. We don't currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If we start to, they'll only be set if you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We ask again every 90 days.

When you pay, you're taken to Stripe's secure checkout page, which sets its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud. Some forms use Google reCAPTCHA to check you're not a robot, which may set Google's own cookies. These are covered by Stripe's and Google's privacy policies.
